Last Thursday, I picked up Aunt Polly at Cabana Bay at Universal and we went to the Pointe. The Pointe has a lot of neat places to eat. We ate at Taverna Opa which was a really neat Greek restaurant.
Jonathan came into town on Friday night. I picked him up and we went to Sweet Tomatoes and walked around the Epcot Resort Area. We saw IllumiNations from the Yacht Club.
Shereta helped Yanbin’s family get into Animal Kingdom. He only used 2 out of the 3 tickets, so Jonathan and I went down there and entered. The lines were so long that the only thing we did was go to the Conservation Station and brushed some animals. It was fun though. (Our meeting spot was under the elephant. Hence, the elephant below.)
Then, we went to Universal. We rode Transformers, E.T., the Simpson’s Ride, Gringott’s Bank, and the Men in Black Ride. The lines were so long there too. It was tiring. We probably waited an average of 30 to 40 minutes for single-rider lines. We saw the Mardi Gras parade. We listened to a few songs from Fall Out Boy and left around 10 p.m.
On Sunday, after church, we went to the German restaurant in Sanford and then, I took Jonathan to the airport.
