In something I have wanted to do since I was in the college program, I was able to go to a special event in Epcot last Thursday.
A women’s business conference is held each year and the country north of us partners with the conference. Well, the conference takes place at Disney. The Consulate invited the Central Florida trade organizations to the night outing. It was a great event. All my friends were there.
We started at the Boardwalk where the conference was held. We walked to see the Canada movie and then, we went to have dinner at the rotunda in the American Adventure. It was a dream. I wonder how much it cost. It was weird to have Canada mixed in the U.S. pavilion, but it really worked.
There was a nice salad bar, a turkey and potato hash area, and a sweet potato/ Peruvian purple potato, and Yukon potato bar. I was looking forward to the dessert party, but the dinner portion was better. There was a short program and then, we went to Italy for cookies and gelato. We saw IllumiNations.
People pick and choose what events they attend at night, but for Disney, everyone was there. It was really nice.
The next day, Friday, I attended the Hispanic Chamber’s luncheon. It, too, was nice.
This weekend, I worked on Oliver 3. It has been a long time since Oliver 2 for various reasons.
Here is a draft: (I see the main problem — where his lips are not moving)
I don’t know if it looks totally professional. I do know I am improving, so I might go tweak Oliver 1 and 2, but it is more complicated than “tweak.”
